Day 1: All you need to know about this cutting-edge technology
I am on a journey — a 100 days journey where I will discuss all things Generative AI.
You may associate GenAI with Large Language Models (LLMs) or ChatGPT (as that is how most of the world got connected with AI) — essentially I will be covering all that's under the hood.
So, let me first share the intent of starting this series:
There are a lot of developments happening every passing day, which makes it difficult to keep pace, leaving aside understanding, internalizing, and fathoming it.
I am sure you all must think — “Okay, so I understand there is this magical thing that is able to understand and respond in natural language, just like we humans do. But, what is so great about it? What's this hype about? How does this affect me, and even more importantly, how does it affect my job?”
That's where awareness is needed, and is precisely the purpose of my #100daysofGenAI series.
So, if you think, “But, I have not been following this chatGPT or GenAI trend right from the beginning”, and that “it is difficult for me to now pick up on this wave”, then fret not.
I will share what is absolutely essential for you to understand the possibilities with GenAI.
Now, that I have shared how it can be beneficial for beginners, let me also explain how even experts can leverage this series and be on top of the game.
When AI Godfathers say that it gets tiring for him as well, considering the rapid developments — this must be true. A lot of AI practitioners find it difficult to cut the noise from the signal and get the most out of it.
So, this series will be their repository of the latest and greatest that is happening in this space.
Plus, the Ethicist in me at some point will come to the forefront and will delve deeper into how to govern GenAI, and the regulations, policies, and laws surrounding it.
